Tamara Pejović

Head of Animation and Sports Department

“I came to Aminess completely by chance in 2019, as an animator in Novigrad, not imagining that this ‘temporary job’ would become my long-term story. In 2021, I became a team leader in Novigrad, in 2022 I led the team in Makarska, and in 2023 I took on the role of Head of Animation for the entire group. That journey from a random arrival to a job I truly love today best describes Aminess – a place that recognizes effort, provides opportunities, and encourages growth. I started at Aminess as a trainee in 2016, going through all hotel and management departments. In 2017, I became the deputy director of Hotel Lume, and later that same year, I took over the management of Aminess Grand Azur Hotel, where I still hold this position today, continuously working on improving business operations and guest experiences.The atmosphere within the team is positive, dynamic, and professional. Through shared challenges, support, and successes, we have become more than just colleagues – we are friends. Every team member contributes to our success, and our team spirit creates an inspiring and motivating environment. I participated in the development of the direct sales segment from its very beginnings, laying the foundations for what is now one of our key sales channels. Today, I lead a team of 30 motivated colleagues within the B2B, CRS, and contact center departments. The experience I gained working in allotment sales and marketing has enabled me to think strategically, develop efficient processes, and build a strong team where we nurture a collaborative spirit. More than anything, I am motivated by good teamwork, as well as year-round education activities organised by Aminess. Being able to work as a guest with famous chefs in exquisite restaurants in Ljubljana, participate in Aminess Wine & Gourmet evenings with David Skoko, as well as the Aminess Gourmet LAB – these were all new opportunities for me to learn and improve my skills, and share what I have learned with my younger colleagues.
